• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Survey, Design and Installation of Aerial Cable Systems (ADSS) over Existing Electricity Poles, New Poles and Trenching FOP Framework Agreement. The scope of the works in summary it will cover the following items for which Oman Broadband is expecting a turnkey build solution. 1.3.2 Survey, design and installation of aerial cable systems (ADSS) over existing electricity poles, new poles and trenching. 1.3.3 A site survey has to attended to all sites, during the tendering stage. Accordingly, the contractor has to submit a survey report for the full proposed route survey (either for existing poles, new poles or underground surface). The report should include details with photos of OBB targeted site, poles condition, poles type (ex. Wooden, concrete), voltage (ex. 11 kv, 33 kv) of a specific route, No. of transformers in a specific route, NO. of new requested poles, overall route condition, the local electricity provider who owns this pole, etc. 1.3.4 Based on site survey, the contractor has to submit a BoM/BoQ with total cost and an estimated timeline. 1.3.5 After the award, the contractor has to submit the final detailed design which has to be approved by Oman Broadband planning team. 1.3.6 Validation of existing duct lines. 1.3.7 All of the materials (ex. Cables) has to be approved by Oman BroadBand. 1.3.8 The contractor has to design and implement the Backhauling connectivity between the listed sites, by a mixture of: 1.3.9 Utilizing the exiting electricity poles. 1.3.10 Installing new poles (whenever is required). 1.3.11 Partial underground excavation (whenever is required) 1.3.12 Provide the updated base maps. 1.3.13 Ensure that efficient use of existing Electricity Poles. 1.3.14 Replace the bad conditions Electricity Poles with new poles (if requested) 1.3.15 Provide all cable and accessories materials for the works. 1.3.16 Construct all ducting and chamber requirements whenever are required. 1.3.17 Supply & Installation of ODFs and Termination Boxes at client sites. 1.3.18 Cable terminations at the client sites, FOC joint closures on the poles and wherever are required. 1.3.19 End to End Testing of all fibre systems. 1.3.20 Acquisition of all construction NOCs and permissions as required by Municipality and any other 3rd party (ex. Electricity Companies, PAW, MOTC, ISPs, OQ, etc.) 1.3.21 Coordination with 3rd parties (ex. Electricity Companies) to finalize the internal work inside their stations. 1.3.22 Coordination with 3rd parties (ex. ISPs) to get a permission to do the internal work inside their mobile sites. 1.3.23 All special requirements from 3rd party such as (but not limited) permission, and the work which must be implemented by authorized OETC / Nama Group contractors. 1.3.24 As built submission after completing the full project.
