  • Quotation are invited for Provision of Catering, Housekeeping, Pest Control and Laundry οƒ˜ Part 1 Catering, Housekeeping, Pest Control and Laundry Services Scope of work for Abraj Energy Service SAOC requires the Contractor to undertake control of planning, coordination, execution, supervision, operation, reporting and improvement reviews of all direct or sub-contracted services regarding the provisions of catering, housekeeping, laundry and other associated Work done by the Contractor in all Abraj following rigs/units: Rigs 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 301,302, 303, 304, 306, Hoists 1, Hoist 2, Hoist3, Hoist 4, Hoist 5, FRAC & Flow back in Abraj locations at (Wadi Musalam, Muhut, Safa, Adam, Abu Altabul, Wadi Laitham, Fakar, Siwan, Saih Alrowl, Mukhazna, Rima, Fahud) Sultanate of Oman to support Company-s operations. Estimated number of employees per Rig/Location attached in annexure A. Note: location could be changed according to the client operation. Contractor-s Scope of Work involves provision of following services in all Abraj Camps consisting of a main camp and a mini-camp, including but not limited to: - Provision of catering services for the authorized Company & client personnel - Provision of housekeeping - Provision of laundry services - Provision for maintaining the Camp in a good and hygienic condition - Provision of pest control services every 2 months. 1.0 Eligibility Only Company personnel shall be eligible for this accommodation. For the purposes of this Annex II- Scope of Work β€œCompany personnel” shall mean all personnel crews, supervisors, superintendents, foreman, tradesmen, workers, laborers, servants, watchmen, inspectors, Company employees through third party, Company operations/maintenances contractors (subject to Company approval), agents or representatives of the Company Group other than the Contractor personnel and/or Subcontractor personnel. 2.0 Camp & Associated Equipment The accommodation units are fitted with similar furniture, accessories, fittings and fixtures, air-conditioners as typically required by oil and gas operating companies. Contractor shall, at its cost, arrange and provide meals to all their Contractor personnel; performing the Work. 3.0 General This part establishes framework in which Contractor undertakes control of planning, coordination, execution, supervision, reporting and improvement reviews of all direct or sub-contracted services regarding the required services. Rigs and hoists geographical locations could be changed according to the Main Client operation requirements. Contractor shall perform catering, cleaning, laundry and associated services on Company's locations for all rooms of the Camp buildings including but not limited to, bedrooms, bathing rooms, kitchen, fridge, freezers, walk-in freezer, dry storage room, mess room, living areas, offices, recreation rooms, stairways, gym, passages and outside the mobile camp premises. Contractor shall perform the work continuously on twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days per week and Contractor shall be required to provide all facilities for a fluctuating daily camp quota and visitors. 4- Contractor Quality Control 4.1 Mandatory Requirements: 4.1.1 The contractor must be HACCP certified and all personnel working for the contractor shall adhere to the standards under HACCP for all food processes. 4.1.2 All contractor crew involved in the food preparation & handling shall conduct a stool test and a hepatitis test as per OPAL standard before mobilizing. Thereafter, this test shall be doe once every four months. This test will be done at no additional cost to the Company 4.1.3 All food supplied to the company at rig site shall be in Tiffin. Tiffin will be provided at Contractor cost 4.2 Contractor shall provide the Company with written notification of the name(s) and personal resume(s) of its proposed person(s) responsible for the quality control of Contractor's work on Company's Facilities. Such personnel may be subject to Company's approval. In the event that company does not approve Contractor's proposed person(s), Contractor shall propose alternative person(s) until Company gives such approval. Company's approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. 4.3 In the event that Contractor wishes to change its responsible person(s) for quality control, Contractor shall provide Company with written notification of its new proposed responsible person(s) together with its personal resume(s) prior to any such change. Contractor must obtain Company's approval for any change of its responsible person(s). 4.4 Contractor's approved responsible person(s) for quality control shall make regular inspection visits to Company's sites to ensure that Contractor's personnel in said site are performing the work in accordance with the contract, and shall liaise with the Company representative during such visits and attend such field meetings that Company requests. Such visits shall be made twice a month or more regularly if required and Contractor shall provide Company with a written report itemizing the inspections performed and actions taken. Contractor shall at all times maintain a suitable support organization to enable Contractor to execute all its obligations in the proper performance of the work. 5- Contractor Personnel at Company-s Locations 5.1 Contractor shall ensure that all its personnel assigned to Company's sites will at all times be well presented and tidy in their appearance and shall possess the highest standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene with particular reference to Contractor's personnel assigned to the handling, preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages. 5.2 Contractor shall provide clean and pleasant work clothes for its personnel and suitable for the type of work to be performed. Contractor shall ensure that a sufficient supply of clean, replacement work clothes are available to ensure all Contractors' personnel wear clean work clothes at all times. Contractor shall ensure that its personnel performing work associated with the preparation and service of food and beverages shall be provided with work clothes, including head gear, specifically for such work and that any such personnel performing any other work shall be provided with separate work clothes for the purpose of such other work. 5.3 Contractor shall, during the performance of the work, maintain a resident senior supervisor on the Company's facilities. Such person shall be Contractor Representative. In the event Contractor Representative leave the Company's facilities, for whatever cause, it shall nominate a deputy to perform all its duties in its absence. Contractor shall give the Company prior written notification of the person nominated to deputize together with the duration of absence of Contractor Representative. 5.4 Contractor shall ensure that its personnel are given realistic work schedules to enable them to perform their duties during the normal hours of work. Company shall have the option to assess and comment on Contractor's work schedules. 5.5 In the event that Contractor's regular personnel are unable to perform their duties due to sickness, personal reasons, leave of absence for annual, national or local holidays or the like, the Contractor shall supply within twenty four (24) hours replacement personnel of equal experience and qualifications until such time that Contractor's regular personnel can recommence their duties. Contractor shall replace such personnel on a one for one basis. 5.6 Contractor shall furnish the Company with a health certificate for each of Contractor's personnel as required by the labour regulations concerning medical examination of employees. These should be issued and transmitted to the Company marked "Confidential" and for the attention of the Company Medical Officer, prior to personnel being assigned to the Company facilities. Medical examinations shall, however, be offered annually, or more frequently if medically indicated.
