• Quotation are invited for Meter Replacement from Postpaid to Prepaid Work Scope at Liwa & Shinas in North Al Batinah Governorate - Stage - 1 01. 1 Replace Three Phase Postpaid to Prepaid Meter No 200 2 Replace Single Phase Postpaid Prepaid Meter No 300 3 Insulation of Home Display Unit (HDU) No 500 4 Laying of RG- Cat 6 weir MTR 1,500 02. 1 Replace Three Phase Postpaid by Prepaid Meter (Meter will provide by MJEC) No 200 NA 2 Replace Single Phase Postpaid by Prepaid Meter (Meter will provide by MJEC) No 300 NA 3 Insulation of Home Display Unit (HDU), (HDU will provide by MJEC) No 500 NA 4 Supply & Laying of RG- Cat 6 weir MTR 1,500 Specific Conditions 1.1. This work for (Liwa & Shinas) area 1.2. The Vendor shall follow all MJEC safety rules and regulations. 1.3. The Vendor shall be obligated and restricted to use the right and authorized PPEs, insulation. tools and other apparatus that are valid as applicable electrical safety rules. 1.4. The Vendor must follow MJEC HSE rules. 1.5. The Vendor mobilized team shall use contractor official vehicle with contractor logo or name, and not to use personal cars, and to be 4W drive vehicle in good condition. 1.6. The Vendor shall have an authorized valid CEP. 1.7. Vendor shall be registered under DCRP. 1.8. MJEC will provide 1 PHs, Three PHs Prepaid meters and Home Display Unit (HDU). 1.9. The RG- Cat 6 weir will provide by Vendor. 1.10. The meters and HDU will receive from MJEC metering testing workshop (Sohar) 1.11. Vendor should tack house owner permission before start replace meter. 1.12. The Vendor will be takes responsibility at the work site, if any faulty happened in customer house due to any wrong connection during work Implementation. 1.13. Vendor must to provide safety store for new and replaced meters. 1.14. Provide safety and insulated tools. 1.15. MJEC will not give any additional cost or charge for any revisited meter for any reasons. 1.16. MJEC metering teams will share list of meters with deifies to vendor for replace as milestone Scope of Work 2.1. Replace Postpaid meter by new Prepaid Meter as per list given from metering department. 2.2. Installation Home Display Unit (HDU) 2.3. Supply and laying RG-Cat 6 wire from meter to HDU for a maximum 3 MTR only for each meter. 2.4. Vendor shall switch off MCCB and remove Fuse and to be make sure the supply is off before initiate the replacement job, and should be test supply before start replace meter. 2.5. The Vendor shall be following the replacement meters- steps. 2.6. Once the job completed the contractor shall make sure with evidence the supply power is restored and works properly with NO LOSS connection evidence. 2.7. The Vendor shall provide clear photo evidence of the old meter before replacement with spot reading. 2.8. The Vendor shall provide a clear photo evidence of the new meter and HDU. 2.9. The replaced meter shall be returned to Meters Unit in the area, to download data than shift to MJEC store.
